Garment Making
Offered at various levels, you will be able to learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine, different types of zips, understanding patterns and making basic garment alterations. You can also go on to learn how to use different types of fabric, alter patterns and use decorative techniques. This course is ideal for those wanting to make their own clothes and homewares.
There is a part-time course for beginners running on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm for 10 weeks, starting on the 14th September 2010 at the Walkden Centre. The course fees are £65. Please telephone Admissions on 0161 631 5002 for further information.
