Flower Arranging
This course introduces students to both contemporary and traditional styles in flower arranging. Styles will include posies, baskets, table arrangements and novelties. You will consider the principles of flower arranging design such as balance, harmony, proportion and scale. This is a very practical course where students will develop their creative skills and produce their own flower arrangements.
On the first week, you will need to bring the materials necessary to make an oval table centre i.e. mixed flowers, foliage, oasis, scissors and small saucer dish.
This is a part-time course running on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm for 10 weeks, starting on the 14th September 2010 at the Walkden Centre. The course fees are £65. Please telephone Admissions on 0161 631 5002 for further information.
