This course offers maximum flexibility to meet the needs of semi-skilled and skilled workers engaged in ductwork installation.

Electrotechnical Technology NVQ Level 2

For those working in the Electrical trade or wishing to convert/retrain. Individuals can complete their technical studies at College, but MUST obtain work in the Electrical field to fully qualify. Candidates completing Level 3 MUST seek employment in the Electrical field in order to fully qualify. Successful candidates will need to complete NVQ Level3 'on-site portfolio' in order to obtain Qualified Electrician JIB card. You will have to demonstrate competent performance in the workplace although you may attend college to “top-up” or practice elements of your trade. Assessment is mainly by practical demonstration of skills in the workplace. You will need to keep a portfolio of evidence as you work towards your qualification.
