Course Outline
The qualification gives a firm grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the health and care sector. It is suitable for those seeking to enhance their employment prospects in the sector or as a stepping stone to further higher level study.

Assessment
Students will be assessed on a continuous basis throughout the year. Assessment will include written coursework and project work.
Other Information
HNCs are a good stepping stone for students who wish to pursue HND, foundation degree or BSc (Hons) Degree qualifications. The qualification is also suitable for those who wish to pursue a career in the health and care sector.
Applicants should hold a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject equivalent to 210 UCAS points (e.g. BTEC Extended Diploma MMP Profile) and level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. Mature applicants will be considered on an individual basis.
