Apprenticeships are work based learning programmes providing the opportunity to obtain nationally recognised qualifications whilst gaining the vital
skills and experience needed for work.
Entry Requirements
Entry requirements vary depending on the sector skills area; however there are some restrictions on who can start a programme.
- You must be in paid employment for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a role relating to the chosen subject area.
- You should have grade A-C in Maths and English or be willing to work towards an equivalent by undertaking a key/functional skills qualification.
Applying
The college website is a useful resource in gaining information and looking for vacancies.
To register information with Trinity Business Centre you will need to send a copy of your CV via the website or to
apprenticeships@salfordcc.ac.uk. If you do not have access to email you can send your CV
and covering letter to Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, Frontier House etc.
If you do not have a CV you can complete the online application form or contact a member of the recruitment team on 0161 631 5555 and arrange to
attend a CV building session.
We will call you to confirm receipt of your details, and discuss current opportunities available and provide advice on job search activity.
Your details and CV will be added to our recruitment database and we will contact you when any vacancies in your chosen area become available.
Your CV will be submitted to the employer for any vacancies you would like to apply for.
We will contact those shortlisted and arrange for you to attend an interview with the employer.
